As Director of Design for Central Park in the 1990's, Patricia McCobb established a name for herself as an award-winning designer. McCobb oversaw the rebuilding of a significant portion of the park, restoring the quality of details and materials to a level not seen in the park since it was first built. Her four-year endeavor to restore the Great Lawn won an Honor award, the highest honor given for design by the American Society of Landscape Architects.

In establishing her firm, she has carried the same quality design work to other parks and private landscapes. McCobb seeks to create design solutions where landscape and architecture are brought together in a strong unified vision with a resulting indelible sense of place. On every project her goal is to provide the highest level of visual quality in combination with technically sound environmental responsibility.
